Effect of magnetic susceptibility of diamond micropowder on performance of plated diamond wire saw

Magnetic susceptibility and ash content of various diamond micropowders were tested.The powders were then made into electroplated diamond wire saw to implement glass cutting experiments.Resultsshow that the magnetic susceptibility affects on the ash content and the performance of wire saw significantly.The diamond wire saw cutting performance becomes better with lower magnetic susceptibility,and the maximum cutting depth can reach 31.4mm.
