Research on reasonable parameters to process ceramic material with diamond tools

摘要: 用数控钻床进行陶瓷打孔时,当转速达到一定值后,刀具会发生剧烈振动,导致金刚石刀片脱落并损坏刀具。为改善这一问题,选取φ24、φ60、φ90 mm三种刀具进行研究,得出其发生破坏时的转速范围。结果显示:打孔工序中,金刚石刀具的合理转速随刀具半径的增大而增大;φ24 mm的刀具其合理转速为1500~1650 r/min,φ60mm的刀具其合理转速为1650~1720 r/min,φ90 mm的刀具其合理转速为1700~1800 r/min。在转速合理的情况下,适当加大进给速度可以提高加工效率。Abstract: When used to drill ceramic,diamond tools tend to convulse if rotation reaches a certain speed leading to blade failure and tool damage.To fix this problem,three kinds of cutting tools,namely φ24,φ60 and φ90 mm,are experimented to obtain the rotation speed before broken.Resultsshow that the optimum rotation speed increases as the radius of tools increases.It is concluded that for φ24 mm tool,the rotation speed is among 1500 to 1650 r/min,and 1650-1720 r/min and 1700-1800 r/min for φ60 and 90 mm tools separately.Furthermore,properly increasing the infeed speed would enhance the efficiency in condition of reasonable rotation speed.
